According to recent news reports, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says that he will be appointing two women to his cabinet, the first such appointments since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
But before we all die of terror over the prospect of Iran possibly becoming somewhat reasonable, Ahmadinejad allays our fears by informing us that both women are hardline conservatives.
So, uh, thanks for the news, Iran. Guess everything’s going to be reallllly different now…
